Job Summary 

Under the supervision of Sales Staff, the essential functions of this position are to initiate and complete sales related and project support tasks, monitor progress and assist with all sales and project support functions. 

Function/Responsibilities 

Aid in preparing quotes and proper pricing for sign products. Communicate this pricing clearly and accurately to Customer and Sales Staff.

Through communication with the Art Department, Sales Staff and Customer, create, monitor and adjust artwork and design specifications for customer proofs, renderings, work orders, permitting, etc. 

Attend on-site Customer/Vendor meetings to obtain information about the project and conduct site surveys and gather needed information in order to quote and document new Work Orders. 

Aid in managing production of signage products through communication between Sales Staff, Production Manager, and Shipping to fulfill production requests. 

Installation coordination to include preparation of projects for installation with installers (outsourced and in house installers.) Pre-install preparation and scheduling, day of installation communication and trouble-shooting, installation wrap up and project closure. 

Communicate with Customers & Vendors as needed to ensure an on time and superior quality completion of project. 

Custom Fabricated Goods as outlined below:

  • Have a working technical knowledge of the goods or services to be purchased; source and research materials and equipment for pricing
  • Discuss material needs with Project Manager/Sales Staff and determine what product is needed
  • Consider price, quality, availability, reliability, and technical support when choosing suppliers and merchandise; may obtain recommendations from suppliers for substitute items
  • Prepare Purchase orders through the use of Production Software for the procurement of outsourced goods or services 
  • Place orders with suppliers and ensure product is shipped according to deadlines
  • Verify receipt of items; authorize payment to Vendors
  • Resolves shipments in error directly with suppliers or through CIS Purchasing
  • Master skills and working knowledge to effectively utilize software such as Cyrious, and Excel in order to complete all tasks
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
